NASA's Juno spacecraft orbits Jupiter capturing raw grayscale strips of the planet in red, green, and blue light bands. Turning those raw strips into beautiful color images normally takes technical skill that most space enthusiasts don't have. JIT solves that with an open-source web app that gives anyone the tools — a gallery of raw JunoCam images with full metadata, plus an in-browser editing toolkit for combining channels, enhancing color, and exporting finished images. Placed 3rd globally at the NASA International Space Apps Challenge.
